Back in July, 2004 during the World Wide Web Circle of Friends Reunion in Tilbury, Ontario a new tradition got its humble beginning. Patsi presented me, Sharon, with an Italian Charm Bracelet complete with a few charms (my initial, a lovely heart, a star, etc.) and soon WWWCOF Charm Bracelet Fever had taken over everyone in attendance. Please enjoy some looks at my bracelet now.

The idea behind our Friendship Bracelet is to exchange charms with other members of the club. The bracelets are composed of individual blank links. As you collect your charm links you remove a blank and replace it with the charm. Do remember to keep your blank links in a safe place because before you know it you have enough blanks to make a starter bracelet for someone special in your life. VOILA! The circle never ends!

Thought you would like to enjoy some of the members stories about their charm bracelets.

I actually received my bracelet from my daughter (the bowler) Lisa, when she went on a bowling trip to Kansas last spring. Here's the charms I have:

• A charm that says Nana, cause that's what my grankids call me, and a Breast Cancer ribbon were on the bracelet when she gave it to me.
• Then I purchased my zodiac sign and my birthstone.
• Then, because I like to be different I got a Canadian flag that is done in black laser.
• And of course my name.
• The girls got me my Bigsis charm when we were on our reunion trip last summer.
• I recently found the Hugs & Kisses charm, cause that's how I sign all my emails.
• I got a Globe and 2004 charm representing the COF at the reunion.
• The Shipshewanacharm was given to me by my wonderful new friend Dee (Marie's daughter Shirley).
• Of course I got the Niagara Falls charm for two reasons, one because of the trip, and second because that used to be my home.
• I think this on is self-explanatory "I Love WalMart".

Anyone looking for a Niagara Falls charm to add to their bracelet to remind them of Bigsis Pat....I bet she could find another one to exchange with you!

I have four charms: "R" for my name; a Red Ruby (also for my name); a "Friend charm and an "I Love Canada" charm. And soon I'll be receiving a WWCOF charm from Pat. Ruby.
