Bigsis Pat's Report Page for October
Bigsis is puzzled and wonders how many people actually visit the sites she has created and she encourages you to take a minute or two and let her know your thoughts on her site. Do you like what you see? Is there something she could change to make any of the many Vital Statistics Sites better for you? There is a Feedback button on the site for you to share your thoughts so be sure to grab a beverage and enjoy the October Report

PET CORNER
Ruby our mascot has been enjoying a stay with Patti in Washington State. She admits reluctantly that it is time to be moving on again. Ruby's new destination has been picked! For the time being she is leaving North America and is bouncing down to Brazil to be with Graça and her daughter Talyta who are very happy to have their names picked and are anxious to receive our Circle's travelling mascot. Ruby worries in case your name is not on the list to receive her, since she wants to go EVERYWHERE and visit EVERYONE in the Circle. She has asked me to add anyone who lets us know on here or by visiting her new online journal. You can read up on all her travels here or have fun playing her games. Meanwhile we'll continue adding anyone's name to the list who wants a visit from Ruby, and we look forward to hearing her adventures in Brazil.
Autumn has always been defined by very specific colours. Decorating in deeply rich reds, yellows, browns and oranges automatically says fall. Bigsis Pat from Ontario, Canada would like you to think about making your very own Fall Wreath.

- Well, my childrens dad's funeral was Sept 30 .. so sad..
I will be going to oregon in November as Nancy is getting married (my daughter); I will be giving her away since her dad past away. She will be carrying something old of his with her.
We sold our house in Florida, thank goodness.
Today is our senior banquet here in the Catskills. I belong to 2 different senior clubs. We have started to winterize our trailer, it is chilly in the mornings - like in 40's.

- Just to let you know, I regrettably am giving up on yahoo mail. I have had numerous problems since I downloaded the new Beta version, and Yahoo has not returned any of my requests for help. So now I give up.
I was given this Google mail or GMAIL by a friend and is now going to be my new way of communication to you all. So, Please delete my yahoo addy and add this one for me. Also, can send me email at jami@md.net
Also for those of you who I have chatted with on Yahoo messenger I no longer am using it either. Either catch me on ICQ or AIM. Once in while will use my msn messenger. Hoping to hear from you soon! It will be so nice to be able to respond to my emails again, or reply or forward. Jamie from Maryland
- I thought I'd drop in and say "HI" and how are you doing?
Things are pretty busy with me. I've been making cards for children in hospitals across the USA and Canada through keiki cards.
One of my Dearest friends from my school days that lives in New Orleans was caught up in that hurricane Katrina. She lost everything in her house. I invited her to stay with me until things improve. Supplies are limited there in New Orleans. No service at Local hospitals; they have to look for clinics for service. Food supplies are not being shipped in like they use to be. They have to travel a distance to get what they need. So she is staying with me until her house is livable. Her sons and husband are living in Baton Rouge for the time being. Going back and forth on week ends to try and clean up what they can. How heart breaking this has been for the people in the South.
I'm just glad my friend is safe and we are like school buddies again.
I'm teaching her all my bad habits now. Ha-Ha-Ha! Not really but she is starting to relax some now.
I just thought I'd let you know I haven't forgotten anyone, just busy here. Hope all is well with everyone. Carol in NY.
- Hello Sharon
Sorry we didn't get the chance to meet in Vancouver. I hope you had a great time with your brother. We have had a magnificent holiday and are now just getting in to the swing of things back home. We have been home nine days.In Vancouver we did the usual tourist things. Grouse Mountain but didn't see the bears although we did see the wolves. The lumberjack show is quite a laugh. We saw the birds of prey and had a ride on the chair lift. Next was Capilano Suspension bridge. Very nice walking through there in the treetop walk. Lots of flowers like Victoria. Went to the Observation lookout, Gastown and Chinatown. Queen Elizabeth Park and Bloedel Conservatory were wonderful. A smaller version of Butchart Gardens. We went back to Stanley Park which we enjoyed the first time before we went to Victoria. And, of course, we went to the shops.
We were very lucky to have the photos from a corrupted Sony memory stick from our digital camera burned to CD. We tried two shops in Juneau and Sony in Vancouver and were told to throw it away. (It had all the photos from our trip to Skagway and White Pass train trip on it). I went across the road to the Future Shop and found they have special software for corrupted memory sticks. You would think a corporation as big as Sony would have the same software!! So if you know anyone with this problem the Future Shop corner of Robson and Granville Sts opposite Sears is the place to go.
We did enjoy the articles in the Newsletter. I will email Pat soon. Bye for now, hope you are well.

- I have been out of the loop for quite some time. Life just got really
hectic for me and I couldn't keep up anymore. Lately things are
settling down a bit, or at least falling into a routine. Robert and I
bought a house last year and got to move in this past March. Now,
instead of living in the second largest city in Sweden, we live in a
quaint little farm town about a 40 minute drive away. We LOVE it! Our
dogs do too! haha Recently I've opened a small gift shop full of
hand-made items. I make most of it, but a girlfriend of mine also makes
jewelry for me. I have everything online now as well so you're welcome
to take a look and let me know what you think.
I hope you've had a pleasant summer and I'm going to do my best to stay
in better contact from now on. :)
I really enjoyed the latest issue of the newsletter. I like the layout! :) I've recently gotten hooked on an online game that others may enjoy. I saw that you have a games section in the newsletter too so I'm sending this link in case you want to use it in the next issue. The game is called Soduko and it's all numbers so it doesn't matter what language you speak. It's also not a math thing so you don't have to be smart to play it! hahaha They post new puzzles each day. Sincerely, Marie Lundgren

The 710
A few days ago I was having some work done at the local Chevy Dealership. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten.
We all looked at each other and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?"
She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one." She said that she did not know what it was but this piece had always been there.
He gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car, which had its hood up and asked, "Is there a 710 on this car?"
She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right "there." (Click on the word "there".)
