- I now have 19 pieces in my collection. They are as rare as hens teeth in this area . When I lived in Ontario I used to find them occassionally.....but to my surprise I did find one in an antique shop a few weeks ago. Every cup and saucer has a different pattern.I started this collection in the 80's and bought the first piece for five dollars. To my amazement it has just been vallued at $1200.00CDN. A good investment wouldn't you say? Rosina
- Editor's Note: Rosina mentioned in her survey that she collects Rosina China
- Balie Jayde Jones arrived by c-section at 6:42pm Monday Sept 13th, weighing in at 6 lbs 14 oz and 20 inches long. Mother is doing fine, baby had a little problem she had her left leg over head, being the reason she could not deliver normally no broken bones just some stretched tendons that will return to normal soon. The Dr broke Felicia's water way earlier and it appears that an infection set in before he decided to do the c-section but with antibiotics Balie will be fine. Mom and daughter are doing just fine and will be home on Friday.

As many of you know, our Circle has its own travelling mascot, Ruby.
She started life with the Circle from Australia, went to Ontario, Canada and had an active part in the Circle Reunion and continued travels to Argentina visiting the girls in Mar del Plata. She has been there since the 4th August, but now recognises that she will soon have to move on, as she is eager to visit as many of the members as possible. If you would like your name on the list to have her for a month or so please let me, Daphne know on here or email me at daphne@speedy.com.ar or let Sharon know.
All the names on the list by 26th September will be put into a bag and the lucky host/hostess will be randomly drawn.
Ruby has her own journal which goes where ever she goes but, while you are waiting for her to visit you, you can follow her travels and adventures so far by visiting Ruby's Site
The draw will be held the first weekend in October.

Members Questions & Answers
Q: HOW WAS THE TRIP???
One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

Crafts
Do you have an unattractive inexpensive wooden framed mirror that you want to do something with?
First off, paint the frame white, glue on leaves either all around or just in the corners of the wooden frame, whatever is your preference. Glue on flowers spaced around the frame amongst the leaves. The transformation is absolutely lovely and you can matched the flowers to the colours in the room wherever the mirror is hung.
Use your imagination here, if you are not a flower person, embellish the mirror with decorations of your choice ... easily changed with the seasons too! Have fun with this easy project.
Do you have a favourite craft that you would like me to publish in an upcoming issue of the newsletter. Do be sure to email it to me.
Be sure to check out all the wonderful craft ideas in the WWWCOF Craft Site and add your own favourites or email Crafty Jayne who will be happy to add them to our ever growing collection.
Remember to take a moment to enjoy looking at some pictures Pat, aka Bigsis, has published online for us. She has done a great job with the reunion photos and I know Claudia was busy doing uploading her photos so check the albums for new pictures!More Photo Albums for your enjoyment!
