On Wedneday evening the world heard the announcement that the British capital, London, was named host city of the 2012 Olympic Summer Games. This jubilation turned to shock when on Thursday morning London was rocked by terrorist attacks ! Our prayers are with everyone affected and our condolences to the families of the victims of the bombings in London.

Why Computers Sometimes Crash! by Dr. Seuss.
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.
If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!
If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall ......
And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse; then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang.
When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and the macro code instructions is causing unnecessary risk, then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM, and then quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your Mom!
Well, that certainly clears things up for me. How about you?
Thank you, Bill Gates, for bringing all this into our lives.

A union of love took place on July 4th, 2005 between my son Bobby and his fiance Libby in their yard under a beautiful trellis and lots of love. I wrote a poem just for them that I want to share with all of you.
"LOVE ONE ANOTHER"
FALLING IN LOVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE. SOON TO BE UNITED, TOGETHER EVEN MORE.
AS HUSBAND AND WIFE, EACH ONES "BEST FRIEND." ANYTHING COMPLICATED ... TOGETHER CAN MEND.
THEY FELL "IN LOVE" THE FIRST MOMENT THEY MET. EVEN THOUGH THEY THOUGHT THEIR LIVES WERE SET.
GOD SAID,"NOW IS THE TIME, A SPECIAL DAY IN THEIR LIFE. THEY WILL BE UNITED AS HUSBAND AND WIFE."
SO REMEMBER OUR CHILDREN "YOU'LL NOW BECOME ONE." LET GOD SHOW YOU HOW IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE DONE.
UNDERSTANDING AND TRUTH AND TALKING A "MUST" SO NO MATTER WHERE EACH OTHER YOU TRUST.
JUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER, NEVER DRIFTING APART ... THEN THE LOVE YOU SHARE WILL REMAIN IN YOUR HEARTS.

Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world
Heav'nly Father created for me.
He gave me my eyes that I might see
The color of butterfly wings.
He gave me my ears that I might hear
The magical sound of things.
He gave me my life, my mind, my heart:
I thank him rev'rently
For all his creations, of which I'm a part.
Yes, I know Heav'nly Father loves me.

Our reunion hostesses are hard at work determining the dates for Reunion 2006 and we should have an announcement shortly. I will let you know just as soon as I find out. Florida Marie and I had a most pleasant visit on MSN Messenger the other day and we talked about the huge Flea Markets that take place in Deland on Wednesday mornings. Some other points of interest we talked about follow:
- Are Amusement/Adventure parks your thing? Florida has several such as Busch Gardens; the ultimate family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent. A unique blend of thrilling rides, one of the country's premier zoos featuring more than 2,700 animals, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, Busch Gardens provides unrivaled "real" excitement for guests of every age.
- or perhaps you would like to get your fortune told in Cassadaga located 12 miles or so away from the Linders in Lake Helen. Cassadaga is the Psychic Centre of the World and this charming turn of the century village just happens to be where the witches live!
- and if you would like to visit a tropical frontier rich in mystery and romance; you might want to consider a visit to DeLeons Springs State Park where there is a promise of a fountain of youth.
- Reunion Raffle - Please help! We need your support. Please donate something we can raffle off in Sunny Florida during Reunion 2006. Click here for the Donation Form and thanks so much!

the USA says anyone who has pets will really like this. You'll like it even if you don't and may decide you need one.
Mary and her husband Jim had a dog, Lucky. Lucky was a real character. Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy. Inevitably someone would forget and something would come up missing. Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's favorite toys. Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.
It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease...she was just sure it was fatal. She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding! her shoulders.
The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her...what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him. The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death.
The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully but the dog just drooped, whining and miserable. But finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap.
Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed. When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. Panic soon gave way to laughter though when Mary realized the problem. She was cover! ed, literally blanketed in every treasure Lucky owned! While she had slept the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement and back bringing his beloved mistre ss his favorite things in life. He had covered her with his love. Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every night.
It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free. Lucky? He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box but Mary remains his greatest treasure.
I hope you have enjoyed this week's issue.
