  • Oh Sharon I was very sad to hear this. Claudia was truly a lady, I have emailed her a few times but honestly didnt know she was that sick. Pat did a beautiful job on the tribute page, you could tell it came from the heart. Hugs Liz from Ontario, Canada

  • Sharon thank you for sharing this with me I really appreciate it very much. I will miss her very much I had not been keeping in touch with her much lately but I don't understand why I let it slip by. She was my Special Sister when we where doing that way back when. I have many special things from her that I will truly be special to me. I will miss her a lot. I know that I have not been around much lately it seems as you said life gets in the way. I also been suffering from depression a lot lately and that has not been to fun. I hope to reestablish my self again with the group soon. I am so sorry for this. I hope to some time catch you on line so that we can chat like we use to. Of course you can not get me up early in the am I have become some what of a night owl and get up around 9 my time which is Mountain time. We are the beginning of that time zone. Well thanks for sharing everything. You are such a great leader. Jayne from Goodland, Kansas, USA

  • Thank you Sharon for sending Charla over in person to let me know about Claudia. I just saw the memorial Pat did ... its beautiful. Miss you and Luv you. Peachy from Ontario Canada but avoiding the Great White North's winter in Florida.

  • I am sooo sorry to hear about Claudia. I didn't know her very well but I always thought she was a wonderful person. I am finding it hard to believe. I will treasure the angel she sent me in the angel exchange for ever. I guess we can say that she is in a much better place and no longer in pain. I will remember her and her family in my prayers. Do you have an addy, internet or snail that we can send our sympathies to? I would really appreciate it. Love, Susan from Ontario, Canada

  • Dear Sharon, Thank you for the information and letting me know that Claudia has passed away. The memorial page that Pat has put together is beautiful and I am sure that Claudia would love it. Please don't feel guilty that you had not been in touch with Claudia as I know that often you spoke about her and thought about her, and unfortunately to-day life has become so busy that we cannot fit everything into a day. I am thinking of Claudia's family and her grand daughter who she often spoke about and about you also Sharon as you are a very special person in what you have achieved. Love to you and everyone else in the WWWCOF, love from Jeanette from the Land Down Under

  • The year has passed by so quickly, and I must have spoken to my friends not even half a dozen times, it brings home how fragile life is when you lose someone, I have made this graphic, it's not much, but I dunno, I didnt know what else to do, its such a terrible waste, and when it happens, we feel it at all four corners of the world. Pat aka Daisy, from England

(The graphic is beautiful and it is at the top of this newsletter!)

  • You are in my thoughts & prayers as is the family of Claudia. God be with you all. Your friend, Billie from Byhalia, MS

  • What a shock about poor Claudia please send my thoughts to the family you must be very upset. I will keep her in my prayers thanks your friend Dorothy from Vancouver Island Canada

  • That is way too sad ... I had tears reading it. She and I shared Campbells' Mugs ... she sent me some a few years back when she had to move. I just deleted her name from my address book and it almost made me cry to do that. She was so kind and sweet! Pami from New York.

  • Sorry to hear about Claudia; Daph, Told me but as I never had the pleasure of heaing from her I can only wish all who knew her my best wishes. Sylvia Wareham Dorset England

  • That's so sad and Claudia will be proud when she sees you in heaven. KIN-Z FRANCIS from the TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS.

  • The memorial is beautiful ... thanks to Bigsis Pat .. she did a lovely job. Cassidy Pat from Vancouver Island, Canada

  • Sharon, I feel so sad. I should have done the same as you said in your email. I was very fortunate to know Claudia in a sense of knowing our disease we had together. Many times, she gave me the strength and confidence to keep going and fight for our cause to promote research for a cure of Takyasu's Arterities. I'm sad I didn't keep in touch with her. I just lost my best friend 2 weeks ago, we were friends since childhood, we didn't keep in touch like we should have, now I wish I had. I feel the same about Claudia. I know she is in a better place now and healed of all of her ailments. I will feel confort to know I will see her again someday. Thanks so much for letting everyone know......the people that knew her will always remember her. Nancy from Phoenix

  • A message to Claudia's family from Pami from NY from WWWCOF. I thought the world of Claudia. We both liked Campbell Soup items. I sent her that gift wrapped music box (looked like a wrapped present) and she loved it ... it played "Wind beneath my wind" Please don't yard sale that ... either send it home with her to heaven or one of you keep it. It was a special gift. You can see the sweetness in Claudia form her pictures. We never did get to meet but I did become close to her on-line. Take care and here is .... a big kiss and a hug from me ... know Claudia is always near us. Pami from Marlboro, NY

Be sure to visit Claudia's Memorial Site and please sign the guestbook!

Claudia, aka The Recipe Lady maintained a website of recipes on MSN, for the WWWCOF: The Recipe Lady's Cookbook . Recently, Sharon, Daphne & Bigsis Pat transferred those recipes over to: Cooking Around The World.

What I would dearly like is for each of you to submit a favourite recipe of yours to Daphne in Argentina for a secret project she is working on. Through them we can keep Claudia in our hearts and minds always.

Allow me please to lead you on a walk down memory lane in remembering our dear Claudia by sharing a sampling of her emails to me throughout the years:

  • I was a military kid. My father was on sea duty with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean and this time the family went along as a "shore fleet." Somehow, our car was taken over on the aircraft carrier the Ole Man was attached to as Navigator (USS Coral Sea) and we took the SS Constitution or United States (don't remember which for that particular trip - we did both during a very short time period) for the Atlantic crossing. From there, we met the Fleet from port to port as a family unit (mother, my young sister and myself - guess I might have been 11 or 12). Barcelona was one of the favorite ports. We stayed in a little "tourist class" hotel right across the street from the opera house (which has since burnt down) on the main street leading up from the port. I cannot remember the name of the hotel, but I can remember it so very vividly. We took our breakfast and evening meals in the hotel restaurant - pensione style. I don't remember much about the breakfasts, but the evening meals were something imbedded in my memory. Dinner was somewhere around 8 or 9 o'clock at night, and the menu was all typical Spanish fare and pretty much the same from week to week. My very favorite night was paella night. The huge pans of paella were brought around to the table filled with this most wonderful of meals. It had a bit of everything in it from baby octopus on down the line. Paella night was one we always looked forward to.

  • The Great Mouse Battle

For those of you who haven't heard about the Battle Of The Mouse ... I've had one, which means I've probably more than one. He has been resistant to being caught in a trap. I refuse to put out poison... He has proven to totally ignore the glue stuff I put out. I knew he liked my beeswax for candle-making as evidenced in my craft closet. Now, when you start chewing on my craft closet you are definitely in trouble. I also discovered that he has a definite love of Carnation Chocolate Instant Breakfast, having devoured two whole packets --- which I discovered when cleaning my kitchen this noon... I would imagine he feels rather like Mighty Mouse at this point being charged with all that sugar and chocolate. I have decided to name him Homer being as he seemingly has decided to stick around a bit longer. As one last discouragement, I have now sprinkled some Chocolate Slim-Fast Powder in the middle of the glue pads. He didn't like the candy corn I left him last night --- I almost took it out of the glue pad to recycle it. I have this great love for candy corns ...

Whoever heard of a chocoholic mouse?

And, if Homer happens to stick around and proves to be a household member, I guess I'll put him on his favorite diet to keep him out of my craft closet. Meanwhile, if he happens to be a little girl mouse, guess we could call her Homerette ... If there turns out to be more than one we will have a Name The Mouse Family Contest.

Requiem to A Mouse

The battle is over
The fight was well fought
We will miss you, dear Homer,
Especially your antics at night.

You put up a good battle,
Fighting off d-Con and trap,
Your curiosity is what killed you,
It was worse than a cat.

Worse than a cat?
What could be worse than that?
A candy corn coated with peanut butter
On top of a glue mat.

We will miss you, dear Homer,
But what did I find?
You left behind another …
Just what did you have in mind?

You were so clever while living with me.
In the craft closet you found the wax from a bee.
Now your lover lives on, but cannot flee
The anger within me when she got in the ivy.

Once again the battle is on
From dusk until dawn.
Your partner will join you
Before very long.

  • I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, but there are a few things I do well! I've watched western movies all of my life and I am sure that if, given the chance, I would be able to ride any horse!

This afternoon I was walking along, and I saw a horse, already saddled and bridled. I looked around to make sure no one was watching me, then thought: If I just take a short ride, then bring the horse back, the owner won't notice!

So, I climbed up onto the horses back and settled myself into the saddle. It was an exhilarating feeling to be perched up so tall on the back of that horse. I started my ride... At first, things went well, then suddenly the horse bolted forward at a full gallop. I dropped the reins and held onto the horn of the saddle for dear life! Then, as the horse continued to gallop madly, my right foot started to slip from the stirrup. I tried to keep from slipping, but the saddle was slick and the horse was jolting her way around. I slipped farther and farther until my arm could no longer hold on. As my arm gave out I slipped to the ground and hit it with a thud. But, to my horror, I saw that my foot had gotten caught in the stirrup!

I started screaming for help, hoping that someone would notice that I was being dragged by a runaway horse. Just as I was about to faint, I saw someone running toward me. He bent over and pulled the cord, and the mechanical Wal-Mart horse stopped moving.

Needless to say, the manager of my Wal-Mart gave me a stern warning that I was a little too old to be riding that horse and would I please refrain from riding it in the future. I agreed!

  • We Are The Women

  • It absolutely amazes me just how well our Circle knows each other so intimately. People would not believe it! What a treasure each of us are to each other all the way around.

And to close this off I would like to share her 2004's New Year's Resolution:

New Year's Resolution?
"I would give up
Chocolate,
But, I'm no quitter!!!!"

Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will. Remember, everyone needs a friend; someday you might feel like you have NO FRIENDS at all, just remember and take comfort in knowing somebody out there cares about you and always will ...

Here are some recipes that Arlene from Phoenix, Arizona, USA has sent in for the "Claudia Collection". Please submit a favourite recipe of yours to Daphne .

Pecan Crusted Chicken Breasts

Dip 4 chicken halves in a mixture of 3 Tbsps flour and 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper. Then dip in beaten egg and finely chopped pecans. Bake at 350 until done (about 12 minutes)

Arlene also makes candy for the holidays and here is one of her favorites.

Dry Apricots

Use as many Apricots as you think is ideal for your family and friends. Chambord Liquor (or any liquor that you like) ... to cover.

Soak apricots in the liquor of your choice (for at least an hour, apricots will be plump) and dry on paper towel. When dry dip 1/2 of the apricot in melted chocolate and place on wax paper to dry ... while drying you may sprinkle holiday colored sprinkles on the chocolate for a nice festive touch ... make sure the chocolate is still wet when you do this ... the chocolate will not have a sheen to it and that is how you can tell it is dried.

Don't forget these HOLIDAY EATING TIPS that Claudia sent to us last year:

1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.

2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. Like fine single-malt scotch, it's rare. In fact, it's even rarer than single-malt scotch. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an eggnog-aholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it. Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas and New Year!

3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.

4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.

5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello?

6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.

7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again.

8. Same for pies. Apple. Pumpkin. Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or, if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?

9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards.

10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention.

Reread tips; start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner.

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Enjoy the Holidays

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Fill your life with goodness and there will be no room for anything else.

Old Words - For anyone who will admit to being an "old timer!"

I came across this phrase in a book yesterday "FENDER SKIRTS". A term I haven't heard in a long time and thinking about "fender skirts" started me thinking about other words that quietly disappear from our language with hardly a notice.

Like "curb feelers" and "steering knobs." Since I'd been thinking of cars, my mind naturally went that direction first. Any kids will probably have to find some elderly person over 50 to explain some of these terms to you.

Remember "Continental kits?" They were rear bumper extenders and spare tire covers that were supposed to take any car as cool as a Lincoln Continental. When did we quit calling them emergency brakes?" At some point "parking brake" became the proper term. But I miss the hint of drama that went with "emergency brake."

I'm sad, too, that almost all the old folks are gone who would call the accelerator the "foot feed." (never heard of this one!)

Didn't you ever wait at the street for your daddy to come home, so you could ride the "running board" up to the house?

Here's a phrase I heard all the time in my youth but never anymore - "store bought." Of course, just about everything is store-bought these days. But once it was bragging material to have a store-bought dress or a store-bought bag of candy.

"Coast to coast" is a phrase that once held all sorts of excitement and now means almost nothing. Now we take the term "world wide" for granted. This floors me.

On a smaller scale, "wall-to-wall" was once a magical term in our homes. In the '50s, everyone covered his or her hardwood floors with, wow, wall-to-wall carpeting! Today, everyone replaces their wall-to-wall carpeting with hardwood floors. Go figure.

When's the last time you heard the quaint phrase "in a family way?" It's hard to imagine that the word "pregnant" was once considered a little too graphic, a little too clinical for use in polite company. So we had all that talk about stork visits and "being in a family way" or simply" expecting."

Apparently "brassiere" is a word no longer in usage. I said it the other day and my daughter cracked up. I guess it's just "bra" now "Unmentionables" probably wouldn't be understood at all.

I always loved going to the "picture show," but I considered "movie" an affectation.

Most of these words go back to the '50s, but here's a pure '60s word I came across the other day - "rat fink." Ooh, what a nasty put down!

Here's a word I miss - "percolator." That was just a fun word to say. And what was it replaced with? "Coffee maker." How dull. Mr. Coffee, I blame you for this.

I miss those made-up marketing words that were meant to sound so modern and now sound so retro. Words like "DynaFlow" and "Electrolux." Introducing the 1963 Admiral TV, now with "SpectraVision!"

Food for thought - Was there a telethon that wiped out lumbago? Nobody complains of that anymore. Maybe that's what castor oil cured, because I never hear mothers threatening their kids with castor oil anymore.

Some words aren't gone, but are definitely on the endangered list. The one that grieves me most "supper." Now everybody says "dinner." Save a great word. Invite someone to supper. Discuss fender skirts.

Someone forwarded this to me. I thought some of us of a "certain age" would remember most of these. Lena from Ontario Canada.

Selecting and decorating this year's Christmas Tree truely is a craft in itself so enjoy this article sent in by Bigsis Pat from Ontario Canada.

Best tips for a successful tree-hunting trip.

First, decide where to place your tree, avoiding heater vents, fireplaces, and windows with exposure to full sun. Measure the height of the ceiling to figure the maximum height for your tree (taking into account the size of your tree stand). Also, consider what width tree will be best. Take supplies. Depending on where you'll buy a tree, you may want to take a tape measure, gloves, a saw, rope, and a blanket or tarp.

Select a tree that's fresh and green with a straight trunk. View it from all angles and compare your ceiling height.

Cut a few inches off the bottom of the trunk to aid the inflow of water. Insert the trunk into a water-filled stand as soon as possible.

Use tap water to refill the tree stand. Most experts agree that additives have little effect. However, do consider treating your tree with a spray-on anti-transpirant (like Wilt-Pruf) to keep needles fresh longer.

Check water levels every few hours for a few days. Do not let the water level drop below the cut trunk. After a week or so you'll probably be able to refill the tree stand just twice a day -- in the morning and evening.

Finally, always remember to avoid fire hazards like nearby burning candles and dangerous extension cords or light strings.

  • I'm supposed to be working today (all my students Mondays and Thursdays while Sylvia is here) but as the girls didn't come, I used the time to catch up on a few things. Saturday, we took a cruiser ride round the port and along the coast so Sylvia could see the sealion colony, and also visited a museum that has a huge collection of shells from all over the world. And yesterday we all went out to a nearby town that has a family adventure park. Next week there is a Christmas craft fair in a local museum, which we decided is a must. Talk to you soon, Love from Daphne from Argentina

  • Just climing this mountain of fan mail, but I am only at base camp ! Am I too late to add a 2nd christmas favorate song? "When a Child is Born" I think it was by Kat Stephens, or Kenny Rodgers not too sure, in 1976. This means a lot to me, It was the British No. 1 in the charts, and stayed there for something like 7 weeks and was still No. 1 when my Nephew Ruben was born. It was still in high in the charts, when i returned from my first visit here after I had taken the voles to be Ruben"s Godmother, The words of this song are soooooooooo meaningful (It only seems like a couple of years ago, but now he is a daddy of a sweet 7 year old girl.) I just so happened to go in to see Daph, when she said "Look at this , I'm chatting to Sharon, see her last comment" You have only known me a few weeks and you know me already, NUTTY SIS. Well they say you are what you eat, I like fruit so there for Im Fruitty. I eat lots of veggie this must make me green. I like Pork ( pig mmmmmm Yes Pretty Intelligent Girl) and of course I enjoys NUTS ALL KINDS ha ha ha, (take that how you like too), but I also love tea, where does that fit in? Well must clim higher, got lots to sort out, and I want to look at some web (spiders are good) pages of birds and other natural things ... a real speciasllity of mine. My parents named me well, Sylvia / Sarah meaning "woods of the princess" how appropriate, trees birds and animals are my pet love Take care Sylvia Wareham Dorset England

  • Had my checkup the Dr said all looked well so I know am on the mend .... now if only the memory would return that would help a lot lol .... but I sure do meet lots of new people all the time .... Marti returned to work on the 21st for 1/2 days .... has been 2 days free from her walker, but ribs and ankle and hand still need time to heal ... but her frame of mind is wonderful now ... am sure all the wonderful thoughts from the members helped her along .... expecting Russell's mom and Terryl and Bill here for xmas then will go to Drayton for a day to see Tad's family .... Ron and Tabitha and Konnar will be only ones missing .... they are in the process of moving to Victoria as Ron is now officially in the Navy .... has been in the reserves 17 years!!!! but will be doing what he loves best finally. warm HUGZ Linda from Red Deer, Alberta Canada :)

  • My religion is beng kind and helpful to others. I see lots of Catholics in my town go to church every Saturday night ... and then will not do a single thing for you ... some will ... but I find the ones that do help do attend church. I see this in some of the people on my own street. I sat in the diner almost wanting to donate a kidney because the wife of Alan's boss needs one ... and to me this is my religion ... being kind ... being a friend. People say Christmas is all albout Jesus ... yes it is but it has become so commercialized that the kids today do not kow an old fashion Christmas ... have they ever made their moma duster out of a coat hanger and yarn. I made that one year and I was so PROUD of it!! I loved Ant's kindergarten teacher because at the beginning of the year ... she sent home a list of supplies such as egg cartons ... macaroni ... pipe cleaners ... small Christmas balls ... and through out the year Ant made projects in that class. I still have all those projects ... infact I should write his teacher a Thank you note because I still have all those memories ... I saved them for Ant ... but will keep a few. One of my favorites is a pinecone with glitter on it ... I put the year Ant made it. I just stopped to buy some wine for the holidays ... my new bakers rack I will put downstairs ... it's a Southwestern theme ... has a wine rack in it. I love this one wine called Baldwin Strawberry Wine!! I want to buy a bottle of Chianti ... the one with the straw ... I found the candles that drip all different colors down the bottles ... I love that look. Reminds me of my hippy days!! Pami from New York

My oldest memory is my mom using an old fashioned washing machine where the clothes came out looking like boards ... now I am telling my age ... 50!! I couldn't live without my washer and dryer!! My friend sent me this ..... I will do exactly that ... print it and put it near my DECORATIVE washboard on the laundry room wall. I should copy it and post it downtown at our local laundrymat ... that place gets pretty boring. I've been there a few times when my washer needed repairing. Pami from New York

Washing Clothes Recipe
(Given a Young Bride By Her Grandmother)

Never thought of a washer in this light before. what a blessing! 'Washing Clothes Recipe' - imagine having a recipe for this! Years ago an Alabama grandmother gave the new bride the following recipe: This is an exact copy as written and found in an old scrapbook - with spelling errors and all.

Washing Clothes

Build fire in backyard to heat kettle of rain water. Set tubs so smoke wont blow in eyes if wind is pert. Shave one hole cake of lie soap in boilin water.

Sort things, make 3 piles

  • 1 pile white,
  • 1 pile colored,
  • 1 pile work britches and rags.
To make starch, stir flour in cool water to smooth, then thin down with boiling water.

Take white things, rub dirty spots on board, scrub hard, and boil, then rub colored don't boil just wrench and starch.

Take things out of kettle with broom stick handle, then wrench, and starch.

Hang old rags on fence.

Spread tea towels on grass.

Pore wrench water in flower bed. Scrub porch with hot soapy water. Turn tubs upside down.

Go put on clean dress, smooth hair with hair combs. Brew cup of tea, sit and rock a spell and count your blessings.

Paste this over your washer and dryer. Next time when you think things are bleak, read it again, kiss that washing machine and dryer, and give thanks. First thing each morning you should run and hug your washer and dryer, also your toilet - those two-holers used to get mighty cold!

For you non-southerners... wrench means rinse.

Pami from New York ... our Queen of Free!

Ruby, our very own travelling mascot, has spent a while in Brazil with Graça and Talyta where she has been well accompanied and now she is heading home to be with her "mom", Jeanette, in Australia for Christmas. Ruby, as most of you know, was born in Australia, travelled to Canada for the Reunion of 2004, moved on to Argentina, has visited several members throughout The USA and Canada, and has spent the last several weeks enjoying herself in Brazil.

Ruby worries in case your name is not on the list to receive her, since she wants to go EVERYWHERE and visit EVERYONE in the Circle. She has asked me to add anyone who lets us know on here or by visiting her new online journal. You can read up on all her travels here or have fun playing her games.

submitted by Sylvia from England and visiting in Argentina ... Daphne from Argentina sent this to Sylvia, her sister, last year!

In light of what has happened this past week I have a testimony to share. One of the best things I have ever done in my life is attend the WWWCOF Reunion 2004 in Ontario, Canada. To meet some of the other members in person and to laugh and cry together created memories that last beyond a lifetime. I will never forget that first reunion and I am so thankful for the friendships that resulted. I know that if you can attend the Reunion in Florida in 2006 you will never regret doing so.

A friend is someone we turn to
When our spirits need a lift

A friend is someone we treasure
For our friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives
With beauty, joy, and grace

And makes the world we live in
A better and happier place.

There is a miracle called friendship, that dwells in the heart. You do not know how it happens or when it gets it's start

But you know the special lift it always brings. You realize that friendship is God's most precious gift!

So much to see and do in Florida so be sure to mark down the dates for Reunion 2006 on your calendars. This historic event will take place March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) to March 20th, 2006. Can't wait to meet you there!

"Listen to your heart ... follow your dreams ... enjoy the journey!"

Have an awesome day; take a moment to think of one of the members you have not met yet and take the time to email them and say hello and know that someone is thinking about you today too.

Please enjoy this lovely Flash Movie sent in to us from Cindy from the USA I would like to close off this newsletter with the following thought. Give it a try!

Living from your heart means that you choose a life and a lifestyle that are true for you and your family. Living from your heart means that you trust your own instincts more than the pressures from advertising or the expectations of society, neighbours and friends. Living from your heart is about trusting the quiet voice within you that emerges when you quiet down enough to listen. A failure to live from the heart creates a great deal of internal conflict. Living from your heart is one of the foundations of inner peace and personal growth. It will encourage you to be kinder and a great deal more patient.
